Hi!

Today I went to a X'mas party at Glendale View. I should actually mention the saapaadu ('food' in Tamil) first! It was so heavenly and succulent. I saw:

1. Sausages (excellent!)
2. Chicken nuggets
3. Lasagne
4. Shepherd's pie
5. Spaghetti
6. Bee Hoon
7. Spag sauce (in a lighter colour than my mum's)
8. Turkey
9. Cranberry sauce (not very well-made)
10. Mashed potato
11. Brownies (with creamy frosting and M&Ms and dark choc-chips and whole walnuts)
12. A white log cake (Verrrrry creamy and glutinous-looking -eeww...not very appetising)
13. A long, rectangular box filled with my fave - chocolates (oops - I hope they weren't filled with liquor - I took about four of 'em)
14. Two plates of jelly (one was yam-flavoured and another was...er...fruit-flavoured and transparent)
15. Fruits (watermelon, pineapple, oh gawd I didn't spare that much sight)

I ate items 1,2,5,6,7,9,10,11 and 13. Gina aunty asked me whether I had really eaten my main course 'cos I was taking so much of the dessert. After that she served me some un-frosted brownies made by a pastor's wife 4 the par-tay. Oh gawd, I think Part 2 (and Part 3) might have 2 b told tmrw. On Christmas Day? Yikes!
