It's been such a blip lately. I wanna mention something.

You know what?

Ok, I better not elaborate or else people will feel i'm being such a hao-lian (show-off).
For getting top in english, I got...a blue 4GB iPOD NANO!!!

Right! Ok, people, just grin and bear it, and bite your lips! i know not everyone can get the Ipod but can get a MP3 player, so you must stop your eyes from turning green and bring them back to black, blue, brown or whatever colours your irises/eyeballs/windows are.

Mine's a 2nd gen one,so it was sleeker (and slippery --yikes!) than the 1st gen. Ipods are really cool, they store pix (and whatnot),music (most importantly),and contacts. No wonder iPod owners are inseparable with the sleek piece of modified-with-really-high-and-uber-flashy-technology metal.

Whatever. So, these days I've been really into Jason Mraz after hearing 'geek in the pink'. the song's like, totally tuned in my head. Love him and his talent. I'd recommend 'The Remedy'. I know it's weird only knowing about Jason M. now, since he's been an artiste since 2002, perhaps? but still!! I know some people who lov-ed Barney and Sesame street and still continue to buy merchandise and prattle on about them, no matter what their age!!!

I'm currently reading 'The English Harem' by Anthony McCarten. I got it from Changi Airport. There's a li'l bit of colour in there, but as long as you know how to appreciate language and know why it's spoken like that, there's really no harm. There was a lot of adult-material based books written by our local authors in the Asian Writing section, and i must say, there's a certain aura of mystery about the books. Really beautiful in all their vulgar-but-suggestive splendour.

BlahBlah. on a roll now, since the holidays have started and i've (we ALL have to, anyway) got to prepare for Pri 6 next year!!! Yikes! But this time, P6 is like, not going to be fun. Cos there's no competition!! God!! All the shy,zipped-lips types are sitting in my form class. I mean, I've grown to love competition and nip it in the bud. Can't be bothered with conspirators, even if it means having almost no friends. But goodness me, I've got two of my uber-cool friends in my class next year: Hatsumomo & Jojo. Two terribly cool friends.

You might want to try out this restaurant at Sha Villa Hotel (formerly known as Sha Tic -is that correct? - Hotel).

The restaurant is called Rosette, and the hotel is at 64 Liat Road, probably near Orchard. Go there between 27 Nov '06 to 1 Dec '06 to eat a five-course meal and pay only $28 per person (I won't say $28 per head cos that's too macabre). I'm telling you this cos my friend Hatsumomo's sister is studying to be a chef and she has this project with 9 of her other friends. They will be using Rosette for their project. Since it's a project, you only need to pay $28 per person instead of the usual $100-odd cost. There's lots of gourmet food, but if you're interested you could e-mail me for more details and I'll hopefully get back to you.

That's my e-mail. Duh! Ok, me sis is breathing down my neck to use the pc, so it's tah-tahs for now. Hope to blog again about more crap i've apparently dreamed up!!

P.S.: I'm drinking Evervess Ginger Ale. There seems to be only one miserable drop left. How fabulously apropos...
