Arrrggh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the second time the knacking computer has hanged!!!

So , unfortunately, for y'all blog readers, I'm gonna have to cut through all the fodder.

Moi family and I went out.
Dad and I made a beeline for Popular (how cliched could you get? I prefer Borders) to spend my $50 voucher I won from the Asian Folktale Festival.

Lemme sidetrack.

At the start of this year's (2005) 3rd school term, I was in p5 and I brought two tres importante books to school, in addition with all them heavy textbooks.

One of them (as I was typing this sentence the last time, the pc hanged) was a planner (I got it with an edition of Reader's Digest). It was prussian blue and had silver lettering. So it was very chic and all. Only I hated the colour.

The other book was a phonebook. I painstakingly had to copy numbers into it. The exterior of the book was so nice!! Mum helped me choose it. It had the sort of rough, wood-grain design, only it was done in black and matte gold.

So when I went to popular, I headed straight for the notebooks section.
By the way, i'm a total s***ker for spiral-bound books.

I was trying to find two items actually. One was a notebook for all my general notations of the year, like friends charts (eww) , recording exam marks, mundane events, and pretty much anything.

This was 2005's general diary.

As you can see, it's violently pink, and has a pic of a blonde on the front. So, I didn't like it. I went to Vivocity's popular some other day, and i found a book with a different girl. They're all a part of this range, sort of series of these kind of books, with different girls on the front. My sister has one too.

So at vivocity, I saw a green kind, with a stylish brunette wearing Lacoste dresses and holding a tennis racquet with a tennis hat on her head. She looked really chic. But it slipped outta my mind, and i couldn't go back to get it. Shoot.

At westmall popular where i was spending the voucher, I was in a full row of shelves selling all sorts of spiral-bound notebooks in diff. shapes and sizes.

I found the 'chic-girl' range and started looking for the lacoste girl.

I COULD NOT FREAKING FIND IT!!!!!!!!!

The only girl I found was a dumb blonde cowgirl, and I've never liked anything to do with cows. Not that cowgirls necessarily ride cows. This is crap.

But I found another girl, but she wasn't in the preferred size of the 2005 diary. She was in a book that was 3 sizes smaller!!

I wih I could take a pic and post it here, but I'm unable to .

Anyway..

She's a redhead, this time, and her features are so perfectly formed and her mouth is open in a mocking kind of fashionista smile. Crapping again. She's wearing lollipop glasses (the nicole richie/tata young kind) and carrying a white shopping bag, dressed in a crimson turtleneck sweater and jeans!!

Can you see them circles next to the girl? (refer to the previous picture).

In the circles, for the redhead book, I saw ankle-high white boots, bling, handbags, and a powder compact!!

It's not too girly, not too fashionista-ish. It's simply..CHIC!!

But I've forgotten about the planner..

I was searching high and low for the planners, and the ones i found were always repetitive, the fengshui/jade/red silk kinds that I hate so much.

I was like so desperate, when my impoverished eyes finally fell on two books.

The dream planner was on top of the second book.

I grabbed it, feeling like a kid in a candy store that has struck jackpot. I made for the aisles in which my dad was in, but stopped to admire it.

You'd be salivating by now.

It was the right amount of thickness, just pudgy enough, and for a bookmark, it had a skinny silver ribbon.

The exterior was so beautiful!!!

I t was sort of matte gold-mixed-with-silver-and-cream coloured. And it shone so brightly! It felt so baby-rump smooth too!

And when I leafed thru the pages, I found that there was double space to write all my stuff!!
it was the dream planner, that my sister is so angry that I didn't get one for her.

There was only one, for heaven's sake!

Ok, I really must stop bragging about it.
Someone is bugging me to stop using the pc. Cannot stand them.

I shall hopefully blog more in the days to come.

i wouldn't have survived if my typing speed is not fast enough.

Tatas!
