This is a loooooooooooooooongggg blog post, so make sure you prepare some chocolate cookies and a nice, strong cup of Doewe Egberts brew. My apologies to Xiaxue for plagiarising her ideas...
I've done a few revamps to the layout..I've nixed the pix (hey, man, it rhymes!!), added the jukebox (on the front page), and pretty much edited the totally nonsensical welcome note.
I did a couple of things to my iPod over the weekend. I subscribed to the Jason Mraz podcast channel, and boy, is he talented. He's damn funny and whimsical, i listen to him before i go to bed.
And guess what! I schlepped all my glitteratis' pix to the iPod, including Jason M.'s ones too! I love my iPod..
My cousin and sis say I'm in love with Jason M, which is absolutely so not true. I mean, it's just a holiday idolisation, which will (probably, or never!!) die off. I used to be crazy o'er Britney when i was younger, but now, you know what i mean. Haha. But who cannot resist J.M!!
So, it's Movie Fever during the holidays, and here I'm gonna feature some movies, of both Tamil and English descent...forgive me if i talk too much...
Happy Feet
This fuzzy comedy about a li'l bunch of singing penguins really appeals to me. With it's not-so-slapstick comedy and scenes of black-and-white fuzz-covered bellies, i am sort of dying to see Happy Feet, no matter what. I actually like penguins, and the way they waddle, is so waddle and weird. I do that the moment I rise and shine.Featuring the voices of Hugh Jackman (one of my favourites!!) and Nicole Kidman (or is it Kickass Nitman?) and some other oh-so-upcoming actors, it still floats my boat, even though i don't really favour animated movies (really weak-and-oh-so-feeble pun unintended). Hey, this one works!!
Gotta go for dinner, so be back in a jiffy.
Ditcha know that a jiffy is an actual unit of time? It's 1/100th of a second!!
Bye.
Ok I'm back, after a nice home-cooked meal. I liked the tofu best, it was "shivering in a jelly". That quotation was from this book about China, but that's not the problem now. So, the next movie i'm gonna review is this movie called Vallavan, which is in Tamil. this was the only tamil movie i cared to talk about, cos' i'm not a really big fan of tamil movies, so to speak. Uhh-huh.
I have not watched the movie, but as far as I know, the songs are really cool. There are 3 heroines in the movie; Reema Sen, Sandhya and Nayantara. The movie is directed by Silambarasan (more known as Simbhu, actually), and he's an actor. What's more, he's playing 5 roles in the movie. Whoa! I'm sooooo impressed! Ok, that was sarcastic! Maybe it will appeal to the teenage market or something. I'm doubtful about the movie, but i sure love the songs!
"What sort of stupid review crap is this?"
"She should go for a brain analysis. She is one loco nitwit."
"hey, her reviews are so sarcastic. S**ew her!!!!!"
"How dare she insult Nicole Kidman, huh? I did not bathe for my whole life to avoid washing away that bee-yootiful scent of Chanel No.5, you know? Hey, Nic, are you hearing this??"
"Aww, support that li'l girl! Give her some buck for her work, huh? Pahh-that-teek!!"
These are just some of the (supposedly) averse reactions I'd get from unappreciative netizens upon their reading of my blog post. Learn to live, people. It's a free world, after all!!
My body language cannot be any plainer if i wrote I Absolutely Adore Jason Mraz And It Is AHOLIDAY IDOLISATIONon my head. Dangit.
