I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS SONG.

It's Make It Mine from Jason Mraz, all-round fantasmagoric artiste and constant make-people-feel-gooder.

I wanted to put it in the playlist for my blog, but they didn't have the PROPER, ALBUM version. and anyway, everyone wants to be the first to announce a future hit, right?

(edited) It's playing on 987 now (at 5.24pm)

I'd actually wanted to put the video with his album cover in it only, so that you guys would be focusing on the music. Anyway, this is the UK version of the video, and i bet you guys would be watching how barmy and funny he is really.

Love this song, dude. The trumpet solo, and electronica and bass.
If this society I treasure allowed, i'd make it my theme song.

What's yours? Send me emails or smth, or tag or whud.

Woah, I think I'm a really late addition to the Jason Mraz Fan Club of present day.
I used to be crazy about him when Mr A-Z came out..then the interest waned (like it will for Russell Brand when the conditions are right and when it's a good time to set New Year resolutions)

And have you ever realized (not so clever pun) that all of Colbie Caillat's hits have two syllables?

Realize.

Bubbly.

Lucky.

And oh yeah i don't like that song anymore so if anyone's trying to imitate me your sorry bubble's burst.

Alright

funny how much contact you lose with school when you're absent for a day.

anyway the first hour of school was ruined

I was pissed.

Well, I was trying to cheer up the friends I sit with during recess as I usually do. They always cheer up and get all animated like life-like Betty Boops (i'm not spelling it the other way) when someone else than me is speaking.

Meticulous observation, that is, but substantial nevertheless.

I swear I shall write a book about human relationships and PR and my celebrity-obsession phases.

It's driving me _____ crazy. I can't stand unimpeccable manners. maybe I just contradicted myself. Still, it remains a fact that the coterie of people I'm gesturing at with my lemon-flavoured lollipop (for the sake of alliteration, straightlaces) should spend the rest of their waking lives in Hampstead or Essex for classes-in-deportment and then come back to S'pore and spread a revolution of prudity. sorry it just seemed to rhyme

It's not my fault or anyone's for that matter that I was brought up strictly, or else I wouldn't have been where I am. And it's also not my fault or anyone's that manners matter to me or else I would be treating you differently.

And I'm not going to do anything about my long sentences.

Sorry for my tirade. Have been wanting to say this for quite a while.

Anyhows

things got more bizarre somewhere towards the end of the day.

(AHA! My brain! I finally found how to increase the size of the text in the posts :) )

I was walking to MT, when suddenly N comes up to me.

She says:

Hey gowri! You didn't come yesterday, right? (duh) You know what happened yesterday?

Me:

What.

She:
Oh. "You know, Mr ___ was insulting you, you know? He said, 'Wow, she's a straight-A student, doesn't need to check papers? Who told her not to come to school?' Yeah, he was really insulting you, like her always does..then olivia said,'mr ___, don't be so bad, lah."

Me: Oh. ok.

__________________________________________________

Judging from my replies, I obviously didn't believe her. Which teacher would do that? And anyway, I'm not struggling in my studies so much so I need to check each and every paper and fight my marks. Heh, that's an insult.

N actually looked sad that I failed to show any emotion.

So I went to MT class and found Ponseeta, who's one of the nicest people around, and asked her if Mr ____ had ever done anything like that.

She said no.

So that conniving sycophant had lied and tried to brew trouble for me, and give me a bad name and a terrible time, ehmm! I was really angry. Really.
It was really sickening to see how much pains she took to ruin the last of my sec 1 life, and give me a bad name. Trying to break down my confidence and/or self-esteem, isn't it? Your usual day-and-probably-even-night-time job?

But I didn't ask her about it. Let sleeping ___ lie, as they say.

What was worse was that...

N and Ponseeta were playing a game of chess, while I quietly read a book. Our Tamil teacher. let's just call him Mr SM. So Mr SM came to N and Ponseeta, and watched them playing chess. Then he asked me if I play chess and I gave him my 'Noh' smile.

Then N said (in tamil), "Teacher, two people is enough! Why must we ask other people to join in, we are enough already, isn't it?"

You decide how rude that is.
So much for consoling her about her grandfather.

Haha. Ponseeta won the game, anyway.
Go girl.

HAha.
I feel like some old lady extolling everyone's virtues and panning certain people.

I guess there will always be some people who you can't get along with.
Toodles everybody :)
Good luck to my seniors for the Os!
