Fast forward to.......whirr......clank..........buzz....Suntec city Convention Centre!!
I was standing at this corner, and decided to capture the centre's magnifica architecture.

Ok,maybe this isn't very impressive and posh, but it has that refined,cold,hard,Japanese/Zen look to it. Which, duh. I like.
We trot over to Food Junction to have lunch..

I actually wanted to take this big imperial-kind of design on the floor, but just then two tourists stood at that exact spot, so i had to settle for (taking a shot of) the floor.Crud.
