ya know, M.I.A's released this new album, KALA. i saw the review in the papers some day, and there was a picture of her. she's like reinvented her style, what with bobbed air (or a la Amy Winehouse, bouffant), and crimson lipstick, below-knee fitted dresses and leggings in colours that would make any Technicolour fanatic proud down to the tendons.

M.I.A fans, go buy this one.

well, i know you all think AMY WINEHOUSE is a booze' s bosom buddy and drugs's best friend, but please, she's a singer firstly. appreciate the music. i did, and i must say she's a permanent fixture on the charts.

OH I KNOW i'm sounding like a gushing fan, but i can't resist that batwing eyeliner and bouffant hairdo. Seriously speaking, it looks like some octopus has crawled up, gone to sleep and in the process died there, and explicably reproduced. BAAAHHH.

she's in a (alcoholic) fix lately, but i don't give a teetotaller's toot about it. i love her music, and i think it's here to stay.

i recommend "Tears dry On Their Own", which is clicked on frequently when i visit radioblogclub.com, and "You Know I'm No Good".

"Tears" sounds a little like "Ain't No Mountain Enough", and the beats are really addictive. if this song was a piece of exercise equipment, it would be a pogo stick. Not that pogo sticks are exercise equipment, but oh well. just chill.

"I'm Not Good" is slower, and kinda grumpy. some ppl say she's not even close to the definition of 'role model', but i'd rather focus on her music. Anyway, didn't ABBA say thanks for that? Not that ABBA has anything to do with this.
