Hello.

You know, with all these holidays, I was in the mood to watch a movie, a good one at that.

And then, i hit upon the idea of watching "Enchanted".

Now, when I first saw the poster for this movie, I was thinking,"This can't be a kiddie, animated, crappy flick, cos nothing with humans in it is crappy". And besides, Patrick Dempsey is one of my not-really-liked actors, so it was at the back of my mind.

well, i get my movie reviews from this site called http://www.seewhatshow.com/ which was produced and hosted by local blogger Mr Kin Mun Lee or Mr brown. And there was this specific review that was about 3 movies : Enchanted, Saw IV and Beowulf. So the movie sounded really endearing and good, so i decided to catch it at 6.45 last evening.

dad went to catch another movie, The Kingdom. the MrBrown show team hv a review for that movie as well, so listen to it b4 catching it.

I feel Enchanted was worth our nineteen bucks. It was full of laughs. Besides, it's hard to find a movie that's full of comedy yet still has SUBSTANCE. and mind you, people, Enchanted has a damn good deal of SUBSTANCE.

Well, i won't spoil the fantastic story for you, but lemme enlighten you on the cast:

Princess (shant say the name!) -- Amy Adams

Prince (ditto) --- JAMES MARSDEN (a.k.a CYCLOPS!!!!!!!!)



sorry about that. i cannot stop praising him since his character is my favourite in the show. watch it and you'll know why.

Robert -- Patrick Dempsey
Morgan (robert's daughter)-- Rachel Covey



and there's a character named Nancy in the show. When this Nancy came out on screen, we all thought she was Salma Hayek. But I IMDBed her, and this is what I found.



Her name, is Idina Menzel.



Now, unfortunately, I'm not gonna give away the whole story, but once the twist comes after the first 10 minutes, you will change your mind about this movie being animated, kiddie, Disney crap.

It's about this fairytale princess who meets her prince and decides to marry him. unfortunately, this prince happens to be related to the Queen of the fairytale world. The Queen is worried n afraid that someone will marry her stepson and take over her throne. that is why, on the princess's wedding day, the Queen pushed her into the real word = NY City. And how the princess copes with being in the real world is the story.



I know what i just wrote was quite vague, bcos i didn't want to reveal too much.



It was touching, but it also had its' funny and sarcastic moments. As you learn more and more about the princess's character, you learn how to spread joy around everyone, respect one another's feelings, and to actually treasure the little things in your life. I don't know, I found it an excellent movie, and i think you should catch it.



When Sis and I entered the theatre, there was no one there. then about 10 mins later, a few people trickled in. She started saying,"Hah, this isnt a very popular movie!" Just 3 minutes later, 20 ppl (excluding us) streamed in.

Hah. She spoke too fast.
