Am back. With a lot of overdue posts.

Music was fun, cos Xinyi's my partner. We usually go quite demented when we're together. We were singing Mika songs (off-tune at times), adding our own (extra!) special sound effects. Some of the songs we were singing were Lollipop (we like the chorus yeah!) and Love Today. Super crazy, really.

After that, we were individually tested. We'd to play 'Ode to Joy' for right hand on the keyboard. I did okay, except i think i didn't go too legato (smoothly).

Wen Kai was playing..but he played the left hand notes as well. It didn't go too well, cos the left-hand notes didn't really match with the right-hand notes.

You know how much i love the british accent, so i started saying this:


"The left hand notes do not correspond with the right hand notes at all!"


Xinyi couldn't understand it, so she called me 'mad'. Then repeated it to Pei Qi, who didn't understand it also. Next, to Metiwan, who burst out laughing. If you want to hear how it sounds like, you can ask me and i'll replay it for free.


Metiwan was 'pissed' with me cos i made her laugh for the whole lesson. but how could i have, when i didn't talk to her for half of the lesson? funneh..then i told her maybe she was laughing about other things. she disagreed. GAH.


Speech Day Full-D Rehearsal went okay, except when i read the very first two names a little too fast. And we 6 emcees wore whites, as in long-sleeved white shirts for the guys and girls, except that the girls wore pencil skirts with block heels, and the guys wore pants.


Rachelle helped a bit with my make-up..the eyeliner really...she brought the whole Cosmetic Gestapo with her...like mascara and stuff..then she did make-up for Farheen. It was a bit weird, walking around school in block heels and a skirt that restricts your movement..and the heels change the way you walk.

GAH the blazer was a little too padded aronud the shoulders for me..making me look like the female version of Elvis when he was pairing up with Ursula Andress for some old movie.


It was the least of my worries though. I was worrying about my constantly-oil-spewing face..but mysteriously it didn't surface..the oil i meant.

yeah i know i'm gross. but don't tell me you don't think about how your face looks?!

Today I walked to school with Sis..too leceh to take/wait for the bus.

Mrs Kartar didn't come for home-ec. the class nearly exploded. instead, there was a malay teacher who relieved us...she didn't even give her name.

It was kinda boring.


Then Xinyi Darl drew an indian girl in a sari for me. Really nice of her to do that. Then i drew a Tang Wei-lookalike girl in a cheongsam for her.

From then on, we started scribbling crappy things, and drawing random stuff..thank god for people like xinyi to spruce up 3 BORRINGG periods in class.


Then i started working on the final draft of my desired blogskin ; Xinyi's making one for me. It will probably be done a long time after the mid-years.

My dementation-gene (is there such a word?) kicked in during last two periods of the day ; Science. I started singing some opera from 'The Phantom of the Opera', especially the last part, where the soprano (Sarah Brightman!) has to hold whole notesin vibrato. It was funny that no-one noticed at first..as if my voice just disintegrated immediately. Suddenly, Denise caught my eye and started laughing ; she heard me. Then she told Celine and they started laughing also. THe next person to hear it was Xinyi. She frowned (in a positive way). Then Slash heard it as well, and raised a finger to her lips. i couldn't stop.

Miss Lin was trying to get the class to listen to her, so for her sake (and mine), i tried to shut up and listen. not that i hadn't been listening.


It was a little pitiful, cos i could see she was trying hard. However, when i was buying lunch, she made small talk with me, so i guess she's not aloof or anything. i find her quite nice, actually. and she listens to me as well. I was asking her if a particular method of doing an experiment was acceptable, and she said she would accept it; also explaining her method.


After school, Farheen and I went to the hall for our MC rehearsal. We went thru the whole repertoire of reading names, introducing the G-O.H, citations, eco-pond introductions and all that.


After that was done with, i went for ELDDS, where most of the seniors were.


ACtually, i brought some Cadbury and Dars choc for the members who were there, but i don't know who ate it and where the choc went. GAH.

Then we'd to take pix individually with Iqbal. certain people were being so irritating. and i volunteered to take a pic of him and mdm maziyan. i said he was posing like marlene dietrich, then mdm maziyan said,"aiyah, this girl ah..."

i look super ah ma. and faded. and old.




jin soo claiming the stool as his best friend and i think it's rather obvious what the chairperson of eldds is doing.

just what i needed to scrawl memos to teachers on..it's from jolene's jumble sale store.



this was in the middle of a pavement. in the middle, i tell you. what is happening?!
