But TL tr did not let us go. He was just evading our questions, which really hurt me, cos i thought he would have our best interests at heart.
In the end, I turned up late for emcee practice, and got chided. And I have someone to seriously thank for it. And was scolded more for things i did not even do. Yes, i could just say life is unfair, but then again, that's simplistic thinking. Nothing is ever fair; there will always be good, the bad, and the..erm, ugly.
To top it off, the T-I-Charge kept us emcees back until 5.30. and i had a music less at 5.30. i was stressed. terribly! to make it worse, it was pouring. I was rushing home, didn't even change out of my uniform to go for the music lesson..it was a terrible, terrible day.
Today was slightly better. We had our 2.4km run early in the morning. I started off running with Slash at first, but she was faster, then i met up halfway with amanda, so we started running together. she was really nice to run with.
That's when my mood went downhill. I'm not sure why, but suddenly i felt moody, physically and mentally exhausted. I don't know how this particular person manages to do it, but i was resting my head on the table, and suddenly, that person threw a book, which poked me nicely and hard on the nose. I nearly blew up; some were watching. Gosh, I couldn't care.
For emcee practice, I thought I was late or smth, or turned up at the wrong place. But Farheen told me ' IT Lab 3' and there i was, walking around like some demented monkey. Was close to tears, would you believe it. I was kinda afraid of some of the TICs, I didnt want to endure scoldings for nothing.
I somehow walked to the canteen, and met Miss Ang. She said,'Yeah, i'll get a drink first."
So, ironically, I wasn't late at all. What a great relief! Maybe I looked frantic or anxious, cos when Miss Ang was opening the door, she asked me,"Gowri, are you affected by yesterday's rehearsal? Cos you look so worried."
Oh no. Yes Miss Ang, I was worried, being the kancheong freak i am. I don't know/don't care if i spelt that right.
Practice was fun. Leonard and Jagan were having problems with the names, especially this one, ' Poi Geok Wei'. Jagan was reading it with this Cantonese accent, like, Poi GEOK Wei! We guys were laughing like mad. At one point, i thought he was doing it on purpose, but then we emcees couldn't stop laughing. And Leonard was grumbling at his inability to read names, he kept saying ,'Let her (me) read it! She can read anything!' Grumbled like mad.
And of course, not forgetting the problem with my drainy voice (i call it drainy cos it IS deep.), Miss Purana, in particular, was telling me to sound more light-hearted. I did it today, and it sucked. I sounded like some helium-voiced Madonna on steroids.
Then after practice, I'd to go for NAPFA. Nearly all my classmates had completed nearly all off their situations, cos they were there an hour earlier than me. Bless Slash, even after completing her stations, she hunted me down (somehow) and stayed with me thru my pull-ups, sit-ups and shuttle run. Bless her heart, really. Thanks a lot, Slash.
AFTER napfa, we left for the art room for some media duty thing we were called back for. Thing is, slash and i were told to teach milissa and khaliesa about reporting. to cut down on the technical stuff, i instead tested them on their improvisation skills. Heck, I even acted like a geisha, so it'd be a bit more challenging for them to interview me. Too bad, not a lot of people saw it. They would've liked the impersonation. I think.
Whatever it is, they are the only talent we have, cos we're still scouting for good reporters who can think on their feet, have a good command of the language, and who are disciplined as well.
Then Suharti came along and shared the methods of teaching she learnt. Yeah I spent my time wisely, cos it was Suharti who was teaching us.
The best part is that the Art Room's now revamped. It looks more like an Art Room now. The furniture's great, it's sort of Art Deco/Pop art-ish. There's even a plush couch near the main table, and another sort of 'coffee-table' thing next to it. It looks really cool, wish it was done earlier.
I was also called to critique the work done by the neighbouring schools. Iqbal and Nasri had this workshop thing going on, so i had to comment on the schools' reporting, which was not that existent, sadly. Some students were bothering Nasri with their weird questions. I have nothing to say. No comments.
After school, I walked to the interchange with Bridget, then i decided to join mum and sis at wm, since they were already there. Bridget and I were behaving weirdly before we left; talking crap as well. I still can't help but chuckle at how demented we actually were.

In between typing this post, i'd been wolfing down my food, emailing the co-ordinator of IN, and sourcing for ideas. Damn you, Givenchy. What's the use of being such a great fashion house when you can't even update your website. When it comes to computer work and stuff, i'm suddenly so loaded with all this stuff and things to do. Otherwise for other stuff.
I was rushing and alternating between webpage tabs featuring Laura Marling and Bionic Woman synopses and Christian Lacroix search results, when i suddenly remembered there's no school tomorrow, and immediately i begin to relax. I was just reminded of how the little things in life actually matter a lot to us. Yeah i know some of you guys are probably wondering why on earth i was googling Laura Marling and Bionic Wohman, but i needed it for the Top 10 list in the IN newspaper you guys are gonna get on Monday.I don't mean to brag, but the Little Mister Tee idea in the last issue of IN was actually contributed by me/renee. Well, we both had the same idea in mind, lah.
I wish I'd more time to blog, seriously, and put up pictures, but i haven't notified my friends, so i obviously can't.
Have a great weekend, everybody. Toodles.
Gotta love the Cardigans!
