Some friendships have been on and off in my case, and in those cases, i felt like telling them to get their ego out of it. anyway, they end up talking to me. how very fast.

Yesterday, we got back our History marks. Mdm Geetha said at first, that she was quite disappointed with our results, but at the same time was happy cos there was a 'full-marks' scorer in her class.

Since Annie was first on the register, she was called first to get her paper. But then there was someone at the door, so Mdm Geetha had to attend to her. The kaypoh annie (haha jkjk) looked at the mark sheet.

and suddenly i heard my name being passed around the left side of the class. everyone was giving me looks...got a little freaked out.

then it came to me..

I know i'm being quite melodramatic by typing everything verbatim (word-for-word), but i don't really care.

Mdm Geetha said,"And Gowri....has scored...FULL MARKS!"

O.MY.GOD.

Could not believe it at all!! The SBQns were exceptionally tough, cos we had to extract as much meaning/nuance as we could from the picture/source.

quite happy about it...mdm geetha said that hhe was glad that her top scorer came from 1e3..for which some ppl thanked me. THANKS guys! she congratulated me as well. i just hope 1e3 tries to beat the other classes. show them.

Today we went to the lab ; passed sis's class. then bcos of the change in register no. i found out that i had to sit facing a certain person. he/she wasn't thrilled about it, but at least we went on talking. he/she should have understood my position when i told her/him to shut up yesterday. if you didn't, there is nothing i can do abt it.

The Temasek Poly auditorium 's stage was a wee bit small, but then again, it's an auditorium. Pretty cold too. Gail and I were talking about movies we'd watched, when we both were discussing the gory scenes in some movies (Underworld, anyone?) I love talking; at least we passed the time while waiting for the play to being.

A little about the play...

It's an original play written by Stella Kon, and this company, IM Innovations, decided to restage it, but without the 3D backdrops. They roped in students from schools, including Bukit View Sec (woohoo!) to create the various backdrops. It was a 30-minute production, with great singing. A bit of Japanese influence there, which made it more endearing.

I was the official reporter for the whole event, which meant i had to interview people and talk about the event (coverage, closing statements etc.)

Was a bag of nerves when i was on camera. Made a donkey out of myself, since i hadn't done reporting/interviewing for a long time. Should have improvised MORE. Had to interview the Chairman of IM Innovations, some primary school guys, who didn't introduce themselves when i told them to earlier. I remember; that was particularly hilarious. Had to resort to looking at their name tags. Funny. And it didn't help at all when i was interivewing the Chairman, since suddenly all the BtVss guys (as in, guys and girls) were looking at me. I learnt so many things from that day's experience, about reporting and all.

Then, some press guys needed Mdm Maziyan and some pupils to talk about the play, so Mdm Maziyan roped myself, Peggy and the media crew in to talk. Not sure if this is gonna be on air or smth.

Speaking of...

Felt slightly "depressed" on the bus ride to BtVss, where we would disperse. Dunno why, maybe was sad that i had to leave my friends. Was listening to music, and looking out of the window..when suddenly..all that i can say is some got their faces on candid camera!
