Today was Authentic Learning Day, which meant no official lessons.

We focused on two subjects, English and Humanities. First, we watched this really interesting movie on the great pyramid of Giza and the men who built it. Told from third-person and first-person point-of-views. we were told that the pyramid in question is the only one left standing intact till today. Neat.

yeah, cindy, hazel and you zhi came to school to give the command for us sec1/2/3s! how sacrificial they were. thank YOU.

Then we had a great discussion in class about the egypt video. The tr who relieved us, was a bit of a laugh, sounding all jumpy/funny/wacky.


Then, 1e3 went over to 1e1, where miss purana had lessons with us. We were talking about brochures, adjectives and stuff like that. i found that 1e1 was really responsive, even when miss purana was asking the two classes for answers. Seriously, 1e3 needs to have the drive to compete. not that they don't. they just need more.


then we had this english test conducted by SEAB, which if it was an insect, it would be a fly on the wall.


during recess, the camera crew from our class was taking pictures and videos of the school surroundings. they asked me for a picture, for which i tried to look retarded, well, a bit. anyway, i've never been good at looking retarded ;/

cannot forget fathin's uber-cute camera! not that smaller than an ipod nano, though it's definitely thicker.

got snubbed today. AGAIN. recess was unbearable.

i never thought i'd like sara bareilles, but i'm hooked onto 'Love Song'. I LAAVED the piano chords. same case with 'take you there'. i'd never imagined. K Gowri. Of all people. Listens to Sean Kingston.

TGIF, and there's ELDDS tmrw as well. After which on Saturday, 25 of us from ELDDS will be going to Temasek Poly to watch this musical,"Blue Willow House". If i'm not wrong, this musical is different in the sense that they'll be using 3d backdrops instead of 2d ones.

and the best part is...people from BtVSS are involved in the making of those backdrops and animation used for the musical! that gives us more reason to come and support 'em!
